Bharati Vidyapeeth, the parent body of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), was established in 1964 by the eminent educationist and visionary Dr. Patangrao Kadam. Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) (BV(DU)) is one of the topranking universities in India, committed to providing the best academic experience. It was established in 1996 in Pune with the aim of providing enhanced learning opportunities and bringing about the intellectual awakening of people through the spread of education that would have a positive impact on the world.
